Scene Documentation
Scene documentation is the foundation of every analysis performed in HemoVision. The quality of your reconstruction, analysis, and report depends on how well the scene is documented.
When reconstructing your crime scene in 3D, you can manually measure the locations of all stains and patterns of interest, or you can rely on highly accurate but expensive 3D hardware. HemoVision keeps a middle ground, by offering an accurate yet inexpensive marker-guided photogrammetric workflow. Using this approach, you can document your scene using only:
- HemoVision fiducial markers
- Standard 2D photography
From this input, HemoVision creates geometrically accurate 3D reconstructions of your scene with minimal effort and cost.
