HemoVision Objects
HemoVision organizes all data inside a project using a structured set of objects.
Each object represents a specific entity within the reconstruction and analysis workflow, such as images, stains, 3D geometry, annotations, or analytical results.
Objects store both data and properties that control how elements behave, are visualized, and interact with other components of the scene.
Understanding the available object types helps users better organize their projects and interpret analysis results.
Object Categories
Objects can be grouped into the following categories:
Scene and Project Structure
These objects define the overall structure of a HemoVision project.
- Project – The top-level container that stores all project data.
- Scene – A single 3D space where all objects are organized and visualized. A project may contain multiple scenes.
Images
Image objects store photographs used for documentation, reconstruction, and annotation.
- AR Image – An image aligned with the 3D scene for Augmented Reality.
- Overview Image – An overall image that covers a large part of the scene used for creating reconstructions.
- Detail Image – A close-up image used to document specific traces.
3D Geometry
These objects represent spatial information used to reconstruct and visualize the scene.
- Point Cloud – A set of spatial points captured from the scene.
- Mesh Model – A surface-based 3D model of the scene or objects within it.
Evidence and Annotations
These objects represent documented traces or annotation elements.
- Stain – An individual spatter stain.
- Stain Group – A logical grouping of related spatter stains.
- 2D Marker – A HemoVision marker detected in an image.
Analytical Results
These objects represent the outcome of analytical procedures performed in HemoVision.
- Reconstruction – A reconstruction of a documented part of the scene. The following children are always present:
- Zone Structure – Contains the geometry of the reconstruction.
- 3D Marker – A marker reconstructed in 3D space.
- Area of Origin – A computed area-of-origin estimate.
- Cast Off – A cast-off pattern analysis result.
Visualization and Output
These objects support visualization and documentation of results.
- Camera Path – A predefined camera trajectory used for scene visualization.
- Screenshot – A captured view of the scene used for reporting or documentation.
