Area of origin

The Area of origin (AO) object is the result from a convergence analysis of a group of spatter stains. The AO represents the center and corresponding uncertainty.

Properties

Property name Property type Description Is editable
Name String Name of the area of origin Yes
Visible Boolean Toggles the visibility of the AOO in 3D space Yes
Valid Boolean Indicates if a valid AOO could be calculated (false means there was an error calculating the AOO) No
Method Selection Indicates which method was used to calculate the AOO parameters No
Color Color Specifies the color of the AOO in 3D space Yes
Wireframe Boolean Toggles wireframe mode for the AOO in 3D space Yes
Show label Boolean Toggles floating labels next to the AOO in 3D space and AR images Yes
Stain groups Selection Specifies which stain groups are used to calculate the AOO parameters Yes
Ellipsoid sigma Vector Specifies the uncertainty of related to the AOO for all three dimensions. Each value specifies one sigma (standard deviation) No
Ellipsoid center Vector Specifies the center of the AOO in 3D space No
Enable true AOO Boolean Toggles the visualization of a true AOO (can be used in experimental settings where the true AOO is known) Yes
True center Vector Specifies the center of the true AOO in 3D space Yes
True radius Double Specifies the radius of the true AOO in 3D space Yes
True color Color Specifies the color of the true AOO in 3D space Yes
