OBJECT VIEW

The Object View provides detailed information about the currently selected object.

Whenever you select an object in the project, the Object View displays key information about that object, including its most important properties and additional contextual information. This allows you to quickly inspect the currently selected object.

In the image below, the Object View card for an Area of Origin object is shown.

Object-Specific Information

The information shown in the Object View depends on the type of object that is selected.

Each object type may display different data. For detailed explanations of the data shown for specific objects, refer to the documentation pages for those objects.

When to Use the Object View

The Object View is usually the first place to look when you want to inspect the properties or results associated with an object.

It provides a quick overview of the most relevant information without requiring you to navigate through all object properties in the Property Inspector.

Docking Behavior

The Object View:

  • Can be docked on the left or right side of the screen
  • Cannot be closed
  • Must remain docked
