3D VIEW
The 3D view is used to visualize your scenes in 3D. At the top is a toolbar that allows you to perform certain actions. An overview of the toolbar elements is given in the table below. Each action is explained in more detail in the sections below.
Interactions
You can interact with the 3D view in the following ways:
- Scroll wheel: zoom in and out
- Left click and drag: rotate the scene
- Right click and drag: drag the scene
- Double click on object: place the scene's rotation point at that location
You can also quickly switch between different viewpoints (e.g. top, front, ...) by clicking the faces, edges, or corner of the orientation cube at the top-left of the 3D view.

Object Transform Mode
When selecting an object that can be moved in the 3D view, the 3D transform widget will appear. You can use this widget in two different modes:

The 3D view can display your objects in two different ways:
Taking Screenshots
You can take screenshots of your 3D scene using the corresponding action in the 3D View's toolbar. Once clicked, you can choose one of two options:
- Save as file: this option will allow you to specify a filename and location and export the image to your system.
- Add to project: this option will add the screenshot to your project as an object. The screenshot will be included in automatically generated reports.
